Best Lasagna formula

A breathtaking authentic version of the classic method - this lasagna will de facto leave you satisfied and fill your Italian Lasagna craving. Your guests will come back for seconds and ask you for the recipe.

You will need:

Cookie Recipes

• 1lb sweet Italian sausage

• ¾ lb lean ground beef

• 1/2 cup onion (minced)

• 2 cloves garlic (crushed)

• 1 can (28oz) crushed tomatoes

• 2 cans (6oz each) tomato paste

• 2 cans (6.5oz each) canned tomato sauce

• 1/2 cup water

• 2 tbsp sugar

• 1 1/2 tsp dried basil leaves

• 1/2 tsp fennel seeds

• 1 tsp Italian seasoning

• 1 tbsp salt

• 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

• 4 tbsp fresh chopped parsley

• 12 lasagna noodles

• 16 oz ricotta cheese

• 1 egg

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 3/4 lb sliced mozzarella cheese

• 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

• Preheat oven to 375 degrees

• Cook sausage, ground beef, onion, and garlic in a Dutch oven over medium heat until browned.

• Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water. Mix well

• Stir in sugar, basil, fennel seeds, Italian seasoning, 1 tbsp salt, black pepper, and 2 tbsp parsley.

• Cover and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.

• Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add lasagna noodles to boiling water and cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain noodles, and rinse with cold water.

• Combine ricotta cheese with egg, remaining parsley, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a medium sized bowl

• In a 9×13 inch glass baking dish spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce. Arrange 6 noodles over meat sauce. Spread one half of the ricotta cheese aggregate on top of the noodle layer. Top with a third of the sliced mozzarella cheese. Spread an additional one 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce over mozzarella cheese and then sprinkle 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese on top.

• Repeat these layers and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover baking dish with foil that has been sprayed with cooking spray.

• Bake 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an added 25 minutes.
